About the Author
MacGregor Kniseley began his 35-year career in education as a teacher employed in non-school environmental education programs. Next, he taught for ten years in elementary and middle schools. Since 1990 he has been Professor of Elementary Education at Rhode Island College. He conducts a practical, interactive workshop-style course called CURR 480 Winning a Teaching Position in Any Job Market. Recent investigations in Circulating Fluidized Bed have been reported in systematically. This book also explains the advantages of high velocity fluidization in various fields of industries. It also gives the further path of research which should be conducted. All in all this book is very good tool for the researchers allover the world who are actively engaged in research in the field of CFB.

..finding places in which to circulate beds of which had been "fluidized". After receiving harsh words from the manager at The Salvation Army after attempting to leave them my fluidized bed, I had to resort to leaving them behind dumpsters. However, thanks to this phenomenal ebook, my life is forever changed. Some of the suggestions that is gives are astounding. It's chapters on homeless people, or "housing challenged", as well as poor college kids, and some more adult themed suggestions really opened my eyes on all the possibilities. I won't list them all here, as I don't want to ruin the book for you, but well worth the read!

An awesome cookbook with great science and practical tips for any dedicated home cook. Recipes require cooking from scratch but the extra few minutes will produce grand results. I have discovered most recipes turn out very well except a few of their grilling recipes. Over and above, buy your book here and beware of the scam of ordering through the PBS advertised sight that has a much lower price. If you buy the book there, that vendor will send you additional books at list prices and demand payment.

Beginners and more experienced cooks alike will love this book!

Having watched America's Test Kitchen, I thought this would be a nice addition to the cookbooks on my shelf. I did not realize (until I received it) what an awesome resource this is! This cookbook is exceptional. Why? Beside the fact that it is jammed packed with recipes, each recipe has a "Why This Recipe Works Summary." So many helpful hints that I was unaware of (and this after cooking for over 30 years). There are helpful hints as to how they revised recipes so that they were healthier, without sacrificing taste. Honestly, I don't think I will have to search the internet again looking for recipes, or what to make for dinner. I love this cookbook - and plan to buy one for each of my children. With the exception of my cookbook that I got from my mother as a teenager, the others will have to find new homes.

The ONLY cookbook you'll ever need!

This is an excellent cookbook if you like simple, good, everyday food. It explains WHY each recipe is good, which is surprisingly helpful.
It's super-easy to read and follow the directions. The only downside is that it is quite big and super HEAVY, but I guess there's no way getting around that.

This book is a must read for all leaders and those contemplating leadership. I believe the concepts for how to build an atmosphere of trust are practical. The authors' suggestions for how to take the necessary steps and approaches in becoming a trusted leader and building a culture of trust are well structured and definitely doable.

I know a couple of school leaders who need to read this book ASAP! Perhaps I will gift them with a copy.

Every principal should read this book. The author provides concrete examples of how to build and how to destroy trust. There is some repetition, in that some ways to break trust are the opposite action of how to build trust, however, the book gives the reader prompts to self-assess each behavior. I'd like to gift it to some school leaders I know who are having difficulty getting initiatives off the ground due to issues with culture and trust.

Still very valid 17 years later

One of the great mysteries of the universe is the fact that this book is now out of print. Out of the pile of IS/IT strategic planning books that I've bought and read this one stands out as simply the best the best ever written in my opinion. It would take a book to describe why I feel this way, so I'll just hit the high points.

First, the author's approach is not only exhaustively complete, but is based on proven methodologies. The genesis of Mr. Tozer's methodology appears to be based in the U.K.'s CCTA guidelines for strategic planning, with a heavy emphasis on SSADM (Structured Systems Analysis and Design Method) and PRINCE (PRojects IN a Controlled Environment), which is the U.K. national standard for project management.

Highlights: (1) Not once in this 549 page book was a product or technology mentioned, making the book as applicable today as when it was first written in 1996. Contrast this with methods that purport to address strategic planning, but are thinly disguised rationales for a particular technology or product. (2)The author focuses on business requirements, dedicating a good portion of the book to discovering and prioritizing business imperatives that will drive how IS/IT evolves to support those imperatives. (3) The approach is realistic, which is evidenced by one of many interesting techniques the author provides: P.E.S.T.. This is a modified Strengths/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats (SWOT)analysis that examines Political, Economic, Social and Technical dimensions of the enterprise. (4) The book is structured in such a way that it follows project phases and stages.

I like the way the author uses quantitative methods for project estimating and cost forecasting, and the numerous questionnaires and checklists provided throughout the book. I also like the excellent illustrations that depicted process flows, matrices, quantified data and comparisons - these added to the information that was provided in the body of the book. Also valuable is the nearly 100 pages of appendices, which include sample work plans, checklists and sample deliverables.

It you want to adopt an IS/IT strategic planning methodology or a framework based on a business-focused approach this is the book to get. Even the most experienced consultant will learn a few new techniques, and those who are new to IS/IT strategic planning will learn how to do it the right way. Five stars and my fervent hope that this outstanding book will be resurrected with a reprinting. Until then it will be worth the time and effort it takes to track down a used copy.

George Hunsinger is Princeton Theological Seminarys Hazel Thompson McCord Professor of Systematic Theology. He earned a PhD from Yale University. A leading expert in Barth studies and 2010 recipient of the Karl Barth Prize, Dr. Hunsinger is also an ordained Presbyterian minister.

Mature and Moving Theology

This is a very mature piece of exposition. Hunsinger has poured the gleanings of his career as theologian and churchman into producing a spiritually deep set of meditations. Here all his best theological tools are put not just to systematic but to practical, pastoral, and pious use. The exposition is seldom surprising for one who knows Hunsinger's thought well, but it is nonetheless often moving.

True to form, he also weaves social justice themes throughout and this gave rise to what I found to be some of the best and most spiritually stimulating material. Hunsinger displays a rhetorical sophistication that at times borders on the exquisite. There is much more that could be said about this wonderfully tidy theological treasury. For instance, each chapter begins with a reproduction of an evocative work of art, and the volume includes a study guide in the back that makes it easily accessible and useful in church educational contexts.

Hunsinger's compact book sets forth the mysteries and paradoxes of the beatitudes with a Christological interpretive key which makes sense out of the beatitudes in ways I've never previously encountered while maintaining the mysteries as they are to be rightly understood. The Sermon on the Mount is the key to understanding the Gospel of Matthew, and the beatitudes are the key to understanding the Sermon on the Mount. Now Hunsinger has shown us how to understand the Sermon on the Mount. With laserlike accuracy and consummate skill the author draws on ancient and modern theologians, Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic, Athanasius and von Balthasar, Bonhoeffer and Dorothy Day, saints and prophets, UNICEF and George F. Kennan--like a gifted jazz musician improvising in contrasting melodies, keys, and rhythms, bringing it all together, without drawing attention to the difficulty and subtlety of his craft, Hunsinger's use of examples of social justice from all over the globe are often surprising and always precisely to the point of each beatitude, as he relates climate change, poverty, restorative justice, and nonviolence to the One who makes all things new. With nuance, verve, clarity, and conviction Hunsinger makes an original contribution to scholarship while serving the broadest reaches and needs of the church. Perfect for sermons, pastoral care, devotional readings, adult book studies, and seminaries. I cannot recommend this book too highly.
